YD/T 6049-2024 Technical requirements and test methods for cold plate liquid cooling rack scale server

【Test methods】

a) Inject working fluid into the test piece through liquid injection tooling or testing machine to reach pressure of 0.5P';

b) After ensuring that the internal pressure of the system is uniform and stable, stabilize it for 1 minute and then check for any leaks in the test piece;

c) Continue to stabilize the pressure for 10 minutes and record the change in test pressure;

d) Complete the above tests, if there are no abnormalities; Continue to inject pressure until reaches P;

e) After ensuring that the internal pressure of the system is uniform and stable, stabilize it for 1 minute and then check for any leaks in the test piece;

f) Continue to stabilize the pressure for 10 minutes and record the changes in test pressure;

Test basis:

a) Under pressure of 0.5P: Stabilize the pressure for 1 minute. During visual inspection, the deformation and bulging of metal parts should not exceed 0.1mm, and there should be no leakage. Stabilize the pressure for 10 minutes. The pressure drop shall not exceed 0.02 mPa;

b) Under pressure of P: No burst, deformation and bulging do not affect functionality;

Note:

Determine the test pressure P according to the following parameters, with the maximum value under three conditions:

-5 times the maximum normal working pressure (meet the inlet pressure of each component under the condition of cold plate heat dissipation flow rate, if the pressure at each point is not provided, it will be calculated according to the pump outlet pressure);

-3 times the maximum abnormal pressure (output pressure of the pump at 0 flow rate);

-5 times the minimum design pressure of the refrigerant (automatically filled by the system);
